Biography
Chanelle Gray graduated from University with a degree in Psychology and Counseling in the Summer of 2009. Currently,
she lives at home with her family in London. She enjoys watching TV, writing, speaking to her friends online and in person,
and loves going out for meals. Her ultimate goal is to have a published series reach the bestsellers list, and if that happens
she'd also like to swim with dolphins. Chanelle is a huge animal lover, a good listener and someone who thinks through
what she says before she speaks. She has strong opinions, but also knows when they should be expressed. Chanelle's
favourite films include Underworld, Van Helsing, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Save the Last Dance, Cruel Intentions,
Finding Nemo and many more. She enjoys watching Desperate Housewives, Heroes, Supernatural, Smallville and old episodes of
Friends and Buffy. She doesn't have much of a preference for music and will listen to anything catchy. Her first
fully finished and most praised book, Haunted, has prompted Chanelle to seek representation for her work so that
her story can be told worldwide. Updates on the progress of publication can be found on the navigation tab as
Chanelle updates her blog. Firstly, I would like to thank my family, especially my dad who continued to push me into following through with my hopeless
dream of getting some of my work published. I love you all.
Secondly I would like to thank Kaitlin and Jenny. Two amazing people who have sat there and listened to my constant complaining,
constant ideas and rewrites without a single complaint. They both have meticulously gone through my work with a fine toothed
comb and picked out stuff that needs changing. They always have boosted my mood on many occasions when the jibes got too much
for me. I would also like to thank everyone who read my first draft of Haunted over on the Sims 2 exchange, whether they found
it by accident, or because I posted it up for comments on a few forums. You guys are seriously the best and it’s because
of you that I have faith in Haunted and myself. Even more so I’d like to thank all the people who took the time out to comment. Although critiques can be quite harsh
at times, it’s what writers need in order to better themselves. I also appreciate being told opinions on my writing,
especially what people would love to see happening in the story as it goes along. And last, but definitely not least, Michele (kodocha freak) for designing my website with no bribe or payment!! She did
it all out of the goodness of her heart and for that I am extremely, forever grateful. Thank you. |
